Sandhills Bogeys Unveil Refreshed Branding for 2026 Season

PINEHURST, N.C. – (April 3, 2026) – The Sandhills Bogeys today announced a refreshed brand identity for the 2026 season, featuring an updated take on the team’s signature golf player logo while preserving its core golf-themed heritage. The refresh modernizes the look to reflect today’s athletes, with the primary logo depicting a younger, more dynamic golfer.

The team’s classic dark green and Vegas gold color scheme remains unchanged. The new wordmark adopts a more stylish font with a subtle nod to Sandhills golf culture: a golf ball in cup integrated into the swash. The standout “B” in the Bogeys wordmark now incorporates a vertical wood bat element, which will also feature prominently on the team’s primary on-field hats.

“This refresh started as a casual conversation last season with Old North State League Marketing Director, Lexie Allred,” said Jay Francis, General Manager of the Sandhills Bogeys. “We kicked ideas around, then dove into rendering new designs during the offseason. We bounced them off players, coaches, staff, and fans—the feedback process was fun and collaborative, with everyone contributing. The result is a sharper, more contemporary look that honors our golf roots while energizing our community for year five.”

The Bogeys will debut four distinct uniform styles in 2026, including:

•  Classic home and away sets with the refreshed logo

•  A special camouflage military appreciation jersey

•  An USA 250 commemorative jersey, designed in partnership with Visit Pinehurst Southern Pines Aberdeen to celebrate the nation’s semiquincentennial.

The team opens its fifth season on May 21, 2026, at Bogey Ballpark on the campus of Sandhills Community College.
